{"id":181,"date":"2016-11-22T11:20:00","date_gmt":"2016-11-22T14:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/camilaleporace.com.br\/index.php\/2016\/11\/22\/estamos-falando-de-pessoas-its-all-about-people\/"},"modified":"2016-11-22T11:20:00","modified_gmt":"2016-11-22T14:20:00","slug":"estamos-falando-de-pessoas-its-all-about-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/camilaleporace.com.br\/index.php\/2016\/11\/22\/estamos-falando-de-pessoas-its-all-about-people\/","title":{"rendered":"Estamos falando de pessoas [It\u00b4s all about people]"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&#8212; \u00a0Portugu\u00eas &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>Comecei esta semana a ler o livro escrito pelo professor Sugata Mitra, intitulado &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com.br\/Beyond-Hole-Wall-Discover-Self-Organized-ebook\/dp\/B0070YZSFQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Beyond the Hole in the Wall<\/a>&#8220;, que seria &#8220;Al\u00e9m do buraco no muro&#8221;, em tradu\u00e7\u00e3o livre (\u00e9 muro, e n\u00e3o parede, porque assim foi feita a experi\u00eancia dele, com muros em comunidades de baixa renda). Ainda estou no comecinho, mas j\u00e1 que vi que Mitra promete desvendar muitos dos mitos relacionados \u00e0 inser\u00e7\u00e3o da tecnologia nos processos educacionais.<\/p>\n<p>Por exemplo, logo no primeiro cap\u00edtulo ele afirma que recursos como os slides do PowerPoint e a tela de um projetor n\u00e3o foram criados para ser usados em sala de aula, como uma maneira de transformar a experi\u00eancia de aprendizagem. Eles j\u00e1 existiam, dentro do contexto de atender \u00e0s demandas de executivos em empresas, e passaram a ser oferecidos \u00e0s escolas pelas empresas respons\u00e1veis por vend\u00ea-los, ap\u00f3s elas se darem conta de que a educa\u00e7\u00e3o seria seu pr\u00f3ximo grande mercado. \u00a0Uma cr\u00edtica contundente, que faz pensar, e que faz todo o sentido.<\/p>\n<p>De fato, na minha avalia\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 bastante complicado &#8220;encaixar&#8221; recursos da tecnologia como esses no contexto da educa\u00e7\u00e3o de uma maneira que de fato fa\u00e7a diferen\u00e7a no cotidiano dos alunos. Na verdade, muito provavelmente \u00e9 imposs\u00edvel que algo assim, e feito dessa maneira, tenha relev\u00e2ncia para o aprendizado. A tecnologia, na verdade, \u00e9 apenas uma das bases das transforma\u00e7\u00f5es pelas quais a educa\u00e7\u00e3o vem passando. \u00a0E ela precisa ser pensada e projetada para cada necessidade. N\u00e3o d\u00e1 para simplesmente trazer recursos criados para outras finalidades para o contexto educacional e esperar que haja qualquer mudan\u00e7a profunda a partir disso.<\/p>\n<p>No centro de est\u00e1 a inova\u00e7\u00e3o e, acima de tudo, estamos falando de pessoas. O que funciona \u00e9 o que melhor atende \u00e0s necessidades das pessoas, da forma mais rica poss\u00edvel. Falamos muito sobre isso no <a href=\"http:\/\/amplifica.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Amplifica<\/a>, encontro que reuniu educadores Google no Rio de Janeiro s\u00e1bado passado e para o qual fui convidada pelas organizadoras. Muito grata pelo convite, ali\u00e1s! Foi uma super oportunidade de conhecer pessoas com empolga\u00e7\u00e3o e preocupa\u00e7\u00f5es semelhantes \u00e0s minhas, com rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 educa\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-260\" src=\"http:\/\/www.camilaleporace.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/beyond-194x300.jpg\" alt=\"beyond\" width=\"194\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&#8212; English &#8212;<\/p>\n<p>This week I started reading Sugata Mitra\u00b4s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com.br\/Beyond-Hole-Wall-Discover-Self-Organized-ebook\/dp\/B0070YZSFQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Beyond the Hole in the Wall<\/a>\u00a0for my Kindle. I\u00b4m still in the beginning of the book, yet already noticed the professor\u00b4s willingness to demystify many of the concepts usually linked to the uses of technology in the learning context.<\/p>\n<p>Already in the first paragraph, Prof. Mitra argues that resources like Power Point slides and LCD projectors weren\u00b4t originally developed for the educational context, as a way of transforming the learning experience. Indeed, they were developed to be used by executives at work. Nevertheless, now these devices\u00b4 sellers try to sell the same resources to a new and profitable &#8220;market&#8221; they\u00b4ve discovered, the\u00a0<i>educational\u00a0market<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, in my view, it is quite complicated to make technology resources like these &#8220;fit&#8221; in the learning processes needs, in a way that really makes a difference to the students\u00b4 lives. I would venture to say it is impossible that something like that occurs. Technology, as a matter of fact, is one of the foundations of the transformation which learning has been going through. And it needs to be thought of exhaustively, as well as designed according to the education\u00b4s needs. We can\u00b4t simply bring to the learning context resources that were created for another purpose and then expect them to result in a relevant, deep change to the learning process.<\/p>\n<p>Innovation is the core of the learning process transformation. And, above all, it is about people. What works is that which meets people\u00b4s needs in the richest, most fun and more efficiently way. This was one of the main topics of &#8220;Amplifica&#8221;, an event that brought together educators from Google and from all over Brazil to talk over education to which I was invited. I immensely appreciate the invitation.
